.اختيار القصة: كان المخرج يعمل على قصة النبي يونس ، ولكن أصحابه أصروا على إخراج قصة النبي يوسف . - يقول المخرج: إن كل قصص القرآن معبرة وجميلة وواقع لما نعيشه في عصرنا. * أصبح القرآن مهجورا حتى عند المسلمين.
.كتابة السيناريو: عدد الكادر القائم على كتابة السيناريو 20 شخصا . و قد استغرق 4 سنوات في العمل على كتابة القصة، وقد استعانوا على كتب التفسير و التاريخ و الحديث و كذلك بعض الكتب للمذهب السني. فصار لديهم ما يقارب 8000 صفحة. * أتينا بحوالي 70% من المعلومات التي لم يحصل عليها الناس. كيف استطعت أن تعكس لنا قصة النبي يوسف؟ سيناريو قصة النبي يوسف حوالي 1800 صفحة وهذا كثير وهو يركز على: أ. يوسف نموذج خاص للتوكل على الله. ب. يوسف نموذج الصبر. ج. يوسف الرجولة والفتوة. د. سورة يوسف تعلم الإنسان كيفية التوسل والرجوع لله وترويج الوحدانية. هـ. وتطرح مديرا ناجحا.
*وفي الختام يقول المخرج :أنا أشعر أني مبلغا أكثر من كوني مخرجا.
هذا المسلسل يحكي قصة النبي يوسف من قبل الولادة يوسف الى القاء مع والده النبي يعقوب ( ع )، وهو يتكون من 45 حلقة وهو من اضخم الانتاجات لعام 2008م، مخرج المسلسل : فرج الله سلحشور.
